Great Looks

Here are a few great looks I've seen recently in advertisements in magazines and a few others from around the net. In about a week I will do a slightly more substantial post, but I'm off to Yorkshire for a jazz festival and then on to Derbyshire for a break.

The lower one is a Ralph Lauren advert. I love the padding on the gillet and the mix of patterns with the tie/shirt/jumper. The one above it is a beautiful Nicole Farhi ad from ages ago. Sadly I cannot find any other pictures of Farhi's adverts but they are all spectacular.

This is a picture from the Brooklyn Circus lookbook. The BKc is more than just menswear, more than a brnad, it's more of a family and less a business. More on them in a later post though.Next is Day Birger et Mikkelsen, FW10, I love the top hat, though I suspect one might not want to wear it out and about!

Finally we have a picture from the new Tommy Hilfigger campaign. One big happy preppy family of models. Slightly idealistic?
